At Newbury Guest House, we understand that travel plans can change. As a small, boutique hotel on Newbury Street, our goal is to offer flexibility whenever possible while still ensuring we can continue to provide thoughtful service and carefully prepared accommodations for every guest.
Guests who book directly with Newbury Guest House enjoy our most flexible cancellation policy. Direct reservations may be canceled up to three (3) days prior to arrival with no penalty, giving you peace of mind when planning your stay in Boston. Cancellations made within three days of arrival are subject to a one-night room and tax penalty, as the room is often difficult to rebook on short notice.
Reservations made through online travel agencies or travel agents follow a different cancellation window. These bookings may be canceled up to fourteen (14) days prior to arrival without penalty. Cancellations made within fourteen days of arrival will incur a one-night room and tax penalty, in accordance with third-party booking agreements.
In the event of a no-show, defined as failing to arrive on the scheduled day of arrival without prior notice, a cancellation fee equal to the full stay (room and tax) will be charged. This helps us account for rooms that are held but unable to be resold.
If you have questions about your reservation, upcoming travel, or special circumstances, our team is always happy to help. Booking directly with Newbury Guest House not only provides added flexibility, but also ensures you receive the most personal service during your stay in Boston’s Back Bay.
